Hey Folks!
Things are so hectic for me at the end of 2010 , i just quit my job and its pretty hard for me to concentrate on this distro thing if i’m jobless , Sorry for not updating the distrolist for almost 4 months, actually theres not much new stuff that coming on my way since i have stop trading in October, but things will keep moving on again as i keep on working release new tapes that is the re-issue of Ila Mitra tapes and the demo from Coma Regalia , other new titles will be announce soon, till then see ya in the pit!

CASSETTE TAPES :

97-SHIKI – s/t tape [revulsion records]
The debut from this chicago quartet. Guitar, bass, drums, singing…and a gong (not constantly, although that would be awesome, just on one song) in the vein of bands you may or may not have ever heard of or care about. Rhythmic, dischordant-yet-melodic, slightly obtuse, rock music from a group of people who’ve spent time in bands like- Fourth Rotor, He Who Corrupts, Locks, Killsadie, My Lai, Iron Reminders, Kung Fu Rick, and V. Reverse to name a few. 6 tracks from 97-Shiki and a cover song from Carburetor Dung; Opression but with their very own style. Bonus with Bahasa Melayu translation!

ANOMIE – discography tape [cactus , stone ville , icfyc records]
Blasting and powerful early 90′s french emo hardcore band similar to bands like Fingerprint, Jasmine, Undone and the like. Complete discography in one tape, include their full length LP, split LP with Piece of Mind, various track from compilation, demo tape and 2 unreleased songs. This is perfect masterpiece for the one who dig early 90′s french emo hardcore.

BALBOA / PLAGUE SERMON – split tape (utarid tapes) RM 7 / RM8ppd
Balboa is a post-hardcore / post-metal type band hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States and The Plague Sermon from Brighton, United Kingdom who sound like if Neil Perry still around , this record will be never available digitally , Midmarch Records and Magic Bullet Records are releasing this on LP.

BATTLE OF WOLF 359 – collection tape [utarid tapes] RM 7 / RM8ppd
Battle of Wolf from London offering some blistering and heavy as fuck tracks from their The Death Of Affect LP as well as their split 7″ with Kaddish & Singaia and the songs from Emo Annihilation comp. and 1 unreleased song.

THE BLACK HEART REBELLION – monologue tape[utarid tapes] RM 7 / RM8ppd
The Black Heart Rebellion is one of the most promising bands to come out of the Belgian hardcore scene in the last couple of years. Their sound is greatly influenced by instrumental bands like Red Sparowes and Mogwai, combined with the dark atmosphere of bands like Cult of Luna and Isis and the screaming intensity of bands like Amanda Woodward. By using visual effects at their shows and by making all the artwork themselves, The Black Heart Rebellion attempts to turn every record and every live performance into a full-fledged assault on your eyes, eardrums and those tiny hairs on the back of your neck.

BLACK SHAPE OF NEXUS – mannheim live tape (qsd records) RM 7 / RM8ppd
First live album by this German monster also known as B.SON who playing dark sludge, this live tape are going to be different from their previous releases. NOT for the weak at heart. over 60 minutes of post-metal , drone and experimental doom

BOLZ’N – spaltfunktion tape (utarid tapes) RM 7 / RM8ppd
Blast! More or less accidentally I discovered this four piece as they played a gig in my town and the description sounded somewhat interesting… and BOLZ’N (an abbreviated form of the German word for either “bolt” or “to slam” ) rip your head off, dammit! Technical, hectical, twisted and intense Grindcore / Mathcore of such a ferocity which pulverizes quite some of the bands of a similar style on Relapse. The band is described as being somewhere between DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN and CREATION IS CRUCIFIXION which is not too far off the point – I would also throw in PIG DESTROYER and DISCORDANCE AXIS to round up the picture a bit. The special thing with BOLZ’N is, however, that they definitely focus on an utterly brutal hybrid of complex modern Grindcore with jazzy technicality and odd time signatures. Much to my joy the band does not showcase any audible traces of Hardcore but focuses on their demanding own style, which also incorporates the skilled (! – as it is not the norm with many brutal groups) use of samples here and there. One further special thing is the seethingly aggressive vocal delivery of the front woman, ranging from high screeches to manic screams as well as mid-ranged grunting. I must really say that this band obviously outshines some of their influences by far.

COKEBUST – washington DC straight edge tape [revulsion records] RM 7/RM 8ppd
20 songs, tracks taken from Cycle of Violence tape, Fuck Bar Culture 7″ and Demo Recording sesssion back on 2006. All in one tape. Fast hardcore in the vein of Infest and the like.”Rooted in the nation’s capital, Coke Bust play fast, pissed, DC straight edge hardcore that straight don’t give a fuck. Influenced by Infest and Youth of Today, this EP delivers 6 blasts of pure thrashing hardcore punk. It follows their killer demo 7″ but adds even more of a pissed-off attitude with negative lyrics. Speed has a lot to do with Coke Bust’s aesthetic. The entire album lasts only four-and-a-half minutes. “We try to take modern hardcore and speed it up,” says Nick Candela (a.k.a. Nicktape) of Coke Bust’s methodology. They’ve played numerous shows in the DC area with bands like Blank Stare, Harm’s Way, Weekend Nachos, and Sick Fix, some of hardcore’s heaviest hitters.”

COMADRE – a wolf ticket tape (puremind records) RM 7 / RM8ppd
With plenty of passion and intensity, San Francisco, CA’s Comadre tear through eight tracks on this EP, bringing more politics and urgency expressed through a hardcore sound that mixes the desperation of ’90s Ebullition bands like Orchid and Portraits Of Past with the aggression of Catharsis and touches of the speed of traditional hardcore.

COTIDIE MORI – s/t tape (utarid tapes) RM 7 / RM8ppd
When a band shares members with LA QUIETE, you might know what you’ll get.But there is no way you can be dissapointed! Hectic and intense screamo with an socio-political undertone. This is the TAPE version of the 7″+CDr from Sons Of Vesta.

DAÏTRO – discography tape (utarid tapes) RM 7 / RM8ppd
This tape consisted 4 years of hardwork from Daïtro including the split with Ampere , Raein , Sed Non Satiata , tour 7″ and Laisser Vivre Les Squelettes LP . more than 60 minutes of flowing emotion felt with each strum of the guitar and crackled scream, beautiful guitar and bass harmonies back elegant spoken word, which is eventually intertwined into a more dramatic and heavy section. The drumming compliments the all song perfectly with nothing flashy, or dull for that matter.

DAÏTRO – y tape (utarid tapes) RM 7 / RM8ppd
The latest album by Daitro from France, Lyon . A totally perfect blend of Post Rock, Hardcore and Rock’n Roll where it prooves that there are still some bands that hold the very core of Punk Rock that French Emo has really held back in the days are still alive. Bands like these guys, Sed Non Satiata and even the more atmospheric, kind of post-metal-ish Aussitot Mort (all from France) are really pushing the screamo sound to new territories.

DYING IN MOTION / FULL CHIN – split tape (utarid tapes) RM 7 / RM8ppd
Dying in Motion is a screamo/HC band from Zürich who blow you away. in the vein of french school (think Belle Epoque, Mihai Edrisch, Daïtro and the like), they’re playing a not so often heard brand of agressive, cathartic, errrm, blues. kidding. some call it violent emo, but that’s just another not-so-close- drawer for an unclassifiable style. the topics hansi screams his lungs out about are mostly of instrospective nature. Full-Chin is one man folk punk from Yokohama, Japan. This is beautiful!

DISCO VOLANTE – blood on the walls tape (revulsion records) RM 6/RM 7ppd
Awesome rock n roll punk as fuck out of the dirty cities of Sweden, loads of great guitar leads and from times really fucking angry screamed vocals which are combined with some slower stuff as well, totally recommended kickass punk fucking rock. Also to add they’re not just an amazing live band, that you shouldn’t miss out if getting the chance, they’re also setting your stereos on fire.

Just mix your favorite tunes from Tristan Tzara and all those european screamo bands with the darkness of 90′s emoviolence bands as One Eyed God Prophecy and Reveral Of Man. comes in silkscreened clothcover by serimal.

HEAVEN IN HER ARMS – duplex-coated obstruction tapes (utarid tapes) RM7/RM 8ppd
A re-issue of Heaven in Her Arms mini album in 2006 , they’ve come of age and are now completely their own sound , blending screamo hardcore , post-rock and experimental stuff unlike Envy or There Is A Light That Never Goes Out , this EP is a masterpiece.

ILA MITRA – satyagraha tape (utarid tapes) RM 7 / RM8ppd
The reissue of the first demo of this Singaporean emo band, 4 tracks that will bring you back to the early 90’s emo sound i.e Rites Of Spring, Indian Summer and early Ebullition sound etc. To add icing to the cake, two tracks from The Love.Life compilation and Song For Sam compilation have been added to the demo tape.The cassette is handnumbered & hand-painted art piece – drawn and painted by the frontman Seelan palay. The pressing is limited to 100 pieces.

Both bands play fast and thrashcore music. Jalan Sehala is from Ampang, Kuala Lumpur and Death of President is from Indonesia. Very good introduction for another blasting fast hardcore hailing from South East Asia. JxS play in the vein of Scholastic Deth with kinda punk rock touch, while DOP play more into thrashcore youthcrew.

JUNE PAIK – discography tape (utarid tapes / builtonfriendship records ) RM 8/RM 9ppd
finally out! this discography tape delivers you all your favorite songs by your favorite band. from the s/t 10”, the split 12” with titan over the s/t 7”, the s/t 12” until the emo annihilation song, the emo apocalypse song and the emo armageddon song – everything is banned on this c-100 tape! june paik combines dark, emoviolent parts with admirable long instrumental parts, peppered with lyrical vocals. this release comes from heart and was something really special, each copies comes with handfolded and handcut brown covers, including handmade lyricsheets and look like a hymnbook. the copies are handnumbered out of 200 black , proprinted tapes!.

Finally a new full lenght of those four friends from Santa Fe. What you can expect? More jazzy, technically brilliant, passionate music from four guys who just want to play music and don’t care about genre specifications.

LUKESTAR – lake toba tape (qsd records) RM 7/RM 8ppd
Lukestar are a Norwegian band based in Oslo. They play powerful pop rock with infectious rhythms and lyrics. Two members of Lukestar used to play in the punk-band The Spectacle and one member currently play in Snöras and Kaospilot.

M:40 – historiens svarta vingslag tape (revulsion records) RM 6/RM 7ppd
Crust/hardcore from Lidköping. Twelve songs of total fury! Full length album recorded at HoboRec, Jönköping. The songs are mixed with slower parts, which keeps the record as a whole interesting and focused. As on a prime note; crustpunk has never – and will never be – better than this. Think Totalt Jävla Mörker mixed with Neurosis!

OSCEOLA – discography tape (utarid tapes) RM 7/RM 8ppd
This discography is a collection tape was made by a group of people who lived very far from each other but managed to meet up every so often to play music and hang out and became pretty good friends, you can hear some of the 90′s emo vibe in their songs and very Saetia-esque for some reason. OVERDOSE / ALWAYS LAST – split tape (stoneville records)
Always Last is a melodic punk rock band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia team up with Overdose from Beijing , China for their southeast asia tour . Overdose is a female fronted punk rock band who also shared member of Fanzui Xiangfa.

PARRHESIA / TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR – split tape (utarid tapes / ice age records) RM 7/RM 8ppd
A One AM Radio vs Jerome’s Dream styled split here, with one side really mellow and the other a chaotic mess. Torrential Downpour play on the first side is a one man project of Jeremy Vavrik. It’s lo-fi acoustic stuff, On the other side are Parrhesia, who sound more like Orchid and Reversal Of Man.

PARLAMENTARISK SODOMI – har du sagt “a” får du si “nal” tape [revulsion records] RM 7/RM 8ppd
Parlamentarisk Sodomi is on the loose and this vicious grindcore vigilante is poised to bring about the collapse of Norway’s political landscape through a rampage of rear entry and sexual subjugation of its figureheads, whilst simultaneously destroying all preconceptions of one man bands by ejaculating the most radical crusty punked up grind heard in the last decade! This is masterful old school grindcore full of swarming buzzsaw riffing, incredibly powerful and tight as fuck drumming, razor-sharp rhythm shifts, neanderthal bellowing growls, venomous shrieking and more circle pit inducing crossover skank sections than a young Mitch Harris could ever dream of!! Parlamentarisk Sodomi is the perfect amalgamation of Repulsion, Napalm Death, Righteous Pigs, Captain Cleanoff, Disrupt, Assuck, His Hero Is Gone and Terrorizer, sounding like a genuine lost gem from the late 80’s but with the freshness and individuality to stand above the rest of the new wave of old school grinders! Har Du Sagt “A” Får Du Si “Nal” features 15 rabid politically charged attacks of the most cruel and sarcastic kind, taken from the 2006 and 2007 demos having been re-mixed and 3 of which are brand new songs to give you the most blissfully excruciating reaming of your life!!

Cassette version of their semi discography compile their first full length, split CD with Crux, split 7″ with Kah-Roe-Shi with a bonus new song. Asian crust in the rise!

POLINA – demo tape (utarid tapes) RM 7/RM 8ppd
This Polina tape is one in a million. It’s like the unheard mathcore recordings of the early 90s. The tape is scarily angelic. It’s comprised of discordant and sometimes grating vocals while complicated high pitched shreddery is blatantly blown out to an ear pleasing finish. The music is so remarkable it almost makes you want to end whatever pop rock music
project you’ve been working on and start a scuzzed-out complirock power-band like Polina. Aside from the music, the tape itself is magnificent. It comes in an artistic cardboard fold case that displays a yellow rodent and includes an insert of all the lyrics. Co-release with “Désordre Ordonné.

QUEST OF QUASAR – nok-tur-nal tape [revulsion records] RM 7/RM 8ppd
This is pretty much what you might get if you mix some His Hero Is Gone/Uranus dark and heavy type of hardcore with some French scream/emo. It is heavy, dark and emotive with just a little bit of metal thrown in the mix. It is a pretty volatile mix of modern hardcore and will serve as a good soundtrack for the upcoming apocalypse. No joke. You don’t play this to get the people dancing happily on the dance floor. You play this to get people all pumped up about the end of this fucked up world. ROBOTOSAURUS – manhater tape (utarid tapes) RM 6/RM 7ppd
Progression is described as an onward or forward movement. ROBOTOSAURUS have taken action and pushed through the barriers of heavy music to create the next extreme in sonic defilement. “Manhater”, their dark, crushing, and frantic debut album. Cramming 13 songs into just 25.5 chaotic minutes, the release is the band’s most focused and mature sounding effort to date, with their skilful manipulation of brutal sounds bringing to mind the likes of Converge, Discordance Axis, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Daughters.

Another in a long line of high energy releases from Czech Republic’s SEE YOU IN HELL. Eight songs of everything that makes you to love them: speed, agility, hooks and near cryptic lyrics that challenge you to question everything that goes on around you while giving you the feeling that everything could be alright if we apply ourselves. The lyrics are printed in English and are accompanied by a collage of b/w show flyers. SISTA SEKUNDEN – don’t blame us! tape (revulsion records) RM 6/RM 7ppd
Sista Sekunden shows Sweden once more how it can be fun to play hardcore, recycling OUTLASTS old saying “Positive hardcore positive youth” there follow-up to there debute record is way more melodic and with more chorus and sing-a-long parts. They have collected just as much influences from CAREER SUICIDE, OUTLAST of course and even early DESCENDENTS. This is the best record with modern hardcore out of Sweden since OUTLASTS above mentioned album – perhaps even better then that now classic record. The thing that relly makes SISTA SEKUNDEN to stick out is that they sing in swedish. SISTA SEKUNDEN brings energy and positivity back in the hardcore scene. 13 really good tracks (included a DESENDENTS cover sung in swedish). A modern classic!

SISTA SEKUNDEN – aging with style tape [cactus / atonal microtonal / revulsion records ]
A collaboration between cactus records , atonal microtonal records and revulsion records. This come out in 5/5/2010 along with their LP and CD.release in the europe.This is the third full length from Swedish punkers Sista Sekunden. A mix of fast thrashy punk along with some melodic catchy riffs. A step up in progress for these internationally revered good dudes. Song explanations in English, 13 tracks in total. Come with double sided A3 size poster.

SLIGHT SLAPPERS – vinyl collection 1995-2001 tape (get pumped! tapes ) RM 7 / RM 8 ppd
Slight Slappers are a fucking fast powerviolence band hailing from Tokyo, Japan since 1995. They play some hectic tight treble induced grind, the singer has a mighty screachy voice on him. Yet still very very good melodies and song stuctures, really interesting. You wont hear any breakdowns here, nothing but the best for this band.

SMG/CARCASS GRINDER – split tape (revulsion records) RM 6/RM 7ppd
Raw grind freaks attack from both bands. Long delayed split finally out now. SMG from Malaysia vs Carcass Grinder from Japan team up on one tape. Comes with 4 different artwork and cover for grind lovers. Tapes not dead!
Prolific Malaysian grind combo SMG’s new release, this time with Japan’s old-school (from 1993!) CARCASS GRINDER (features amazing drummer Justice of DAMAGE DIGITAL actually!)

Manila’s own straight edge crew STAID are form after the Feud , The Weapon and Choke Cocoi broken up, this bring a whole new breath for the scene in Phillipines, soundwise like Ten Yard Fight , In My Eyes and Chain Of Strenght ( they even cover COS’ Too Deep Until Now on this tape ) this demo originally release as a 2 different demos in CDr. collected in one tape to start the mosh.

TOWERS – s/t tape (protagonist records) RM 8/RM 9ppd
This is the cassette version of TOWERS full length vinyl release from late 2007 (on Electric Human Project and Turnstile). This Philadelphia band has been touring like crazy over the last few years, and has opened peoples eyes to some seriously outrageous tunes. A mid-paced abrasive psychedelic nightmare as demonstrated through the sonic fury of TOWERS. While one could claim that they draw influences from band names like GASP, DEADGUY, PG.99 and OLD MAN GLOOM / older ISIS, the band’s real influences come from themselves and a DIY punk-as-fuck mindset in general. They strive to write songs, put out records, go on tours, and repeat a seemingly never ending cycle. This is the true influence on the existence of the band… and these guys are doing it better than almost any others out there! Highly recommended!

UNHOLY GRAVE – revoltage tape (get pumped! tapes ) RM 6 / RM 7 ppd
Fuck yes, a new studio album from Japans reigning Grindcore kings UNHOLY GRAVE!!! All new songs, 23 tracks including the intro and outro, recorded in DIY style for a true old school sound. UNHOLY GRAVE have arguably donated their best material on this album, with some songs verging more into D-beat while others getting into the Metal zone but still staying punk as fuck!!! This CD will leave you devastated.

UNION OF SLEEP – s/t tape [menora records]
Heavy downtune band outta Germany. This feature 8 songs, playing not unlike band like weedeater, cavity and 16. Feature former member of The now denial, this sure will promise something.

ZANN – three years in the desert tape (utarid tapes) RM 8/RM 9ppd
After tons of split-releases with Funeral Diner, Racebannon, Anger is Beautiful, Blame Game and discography CD – this is their first full length with 6 songs (28 minutes). If you want your hardcore varied, volcanic and intense, independent not only in theory but also in practice, with thoughtful, socially aware lyrics, then Zann is your thing.

ARMY OF FLYING ROBOTS – life is cheap CD (super fi records) [RM30]
One of the best hardcore bands the UK produced, screaming emo violence with elements of grind unlike the locust.

AUSSITOT MORT – montuenga CD (oto records) [RM30]
The debut full length from this French powerhouse has finally arrived. If you’re not familiar with this band, they’re from Caen in France , share members with Amanda Woodward, they used to sound different when they were a 5 piece but since the original singer left the band they went into something heavier and noisier , between post hardcore and “psychedelic” rock. Their debut 4-song 12″ was released 2 years ago and sold out almost immediately. The artwork was superbly crafted by the talented Mara Piccione.Aussitôt Mort’s first full-length since this spring. Montuenga’s release kept getting pushed back, but at least three months after the intended date, it’s finally here. Aussitôt Mort parted with their vocalist who appears on the 12″ demo, so their songs have taken on a more instrumental quality. The songs lend themselves to minimal vocal accompaniment, but almost all of them still feature French lyrics.

CARRY VS SABSE – s/t CD [moment of collapse records] RM20
This is the debut CD by Carry vs. Sabse from Berlin. This duo are two creativ girls that know how to make out of less more. Good arranged songs, sometimes with a single guitar, sometimes with sampled guitars and basslines, matched with minimal drummings and synthy-tones and always with a present and bright voice. it is all done in a lovely diy / lo-fi style. With these basics Carry and Sabse bring their songs somewhere between indie, folk and singer/songwriter sounds.
Hooked by different emotions like happieness, melancholy and satisfaction you get ll ten songs, that know how to convince the listener.

POTRAITS OF PAST – cypress dust witch CDep [excursions into the abyss]
Portraits of Past formed around 1994 in the San Francisco Bay Area and parted ways at the end of 1995. During their short-lived career, the band released a split 7″, several tracks on various compilations and most notably a self-titled LP that has been commonly cited as one of the most influential post-hardcore albums.In 2009, The band recorded four new songs – resulting in Cypress Dust Witch.Simply beautiful. Their sound has matured in the decade and a bit, (as) they’ve been busy doing other things. It’s a more grown up and well-rounded collection of pieces, all still retaining their trademark sound of passion and chaos.

ROLLERGIRLS – in heaven everything is fine CDep (self released)
A new EP by this german post-rock quartet with more complex math-rock to add the flavor , very different from their first appearance as a screamo outfit before but now without the vocals. nice production overall.

SPIRES – flowers and fireworks CD (pissart records) [ RM 15/RM 12ppd ]
These guys sound sort of like Mesa Verde, which means this fairly impressive LP is sitting in the shadow of The Old Road. Their differentiating point is that they much prefer working with harmonic minor and trying to sound slightly evil and menacing among all of the epic builds rather than sweet and wistful. They really aren’t that original but bring solid music nonetheless.

SUIS LA LUNE – quiet, pull the string! CD (ape must not kill ape records) [ RM25 ]
The debut album from this young band from Sweden. Suis La Lune sometimes sounds like a lost gem of the mid 90s: melodic interludes, jangly guitars, quiet/loud parts, desperate vocals that is ranging between talky rantings and intense screaming. Suis La Lune combines this sound with a more epic and complex song structure (think of bands like City Of Caterpillar).

The Buzzcocks. The Fall. Joy Division. The Smiths. Manchester brought us so many great bands, and here is another one! xCurraheex is a straight edge band that has been around since 2006, released their debut 7” in 2008 on Double Crossed Records from the UK and, after some line-up changes, have recorded their second 7” at the end of 2009. Seven songs of positive, yet aggressive, straight edge hardcore in the tradition of all the great straight edge bands from the late 1980s and late 1990s, brought with conviction and spirit. Finally after months of delays it´s done. The OFTSOA / Kias Fansuri Split is out. This release is the last output by Oftsoa who continued playing a mix between screamosound, hardcore and the mid 90´s. Two songs which deal with friendship and the treatment of the diy-culture. Kias Fansuri are ex Utarid and play emoviolence in the vein of Orchid, Reversal of men and the Khayembii Communique. They contribute two songs as well. The artwork was done by ward zwart and contains lyrics, limernotes as well as his unique drawings. This record is limited to 600 copies in black vinyl.

Badass split between MONARCS and OSCEOLA, both with former members of TUNES FOR BEARS TO DANCE TO and/or TYRANNY OF SHAW, the proto-screamo bands that predated TORCHE and CAPSULE finding their way to our humble label. Killer cousins of our bros, and a pretty hard to find 7″ too! 420 total copies pressed, there are 220 on black vinyl and this is on white colored.

With lyrics about the meat industry, the power of oil corporations in the USA, intelligent design, but also about being different and making a positive change, Resolve makes clear that the have some importants thoughts to share.

Klang Valley straight edge veterans Second Combat debut on vinyl with a six song 7” on Commitment Records. Second Combat is already around for over 12 years, and that shows in the songs on this EP. Although the basis is old school hardcore, Second Combat takes the style to a new level, with songs that burst of different ideas: melodic singing, over the top screaming, youth crew singalongs, superfast drum parts, melodic guitar work, it’s all present on this 7”. The lyrics show that Second Combat not only takes pride in being straight edge, but also address some important issues as sexism, racism and wage slavery.

Turn The Tide started out as a project in October 2006, when people involved in several other Finish hardcore bands, decided it was time for a straight edge band playing traditional hardcore in Finland again, as such a band had been lacking since the breakup of On A Solid Rock. Although Turn The Tide take the inspiration for their sound clearly from the classic youthcrew bands, their sound also contains elements of melodic punkrock and even classic rock, with raw production adding an extra sting. Shouted by a voice that sometimes brings Ian MacKaye to mind, the lyrics on their debut-7” are reflections of everyday life and relations with other people: greed, love, self-confidence and personal choices and growth.

The Black Heart Rebellion is one of the most promising bands to come out of the Belgian hardcore scene in the last couple of years. Their sound is greatly influenced by instrumental bands like Red Sparowes and Mogwai, combined with the dark atmosphere of bands like Cult of Luna and Isis and the screaming intensity of bands like Amanda Woodward. By using visual effects at their shows and by making all the artwork themselves, The Black Heart Rebellion attempts to turn every record and every live performance into a full-fledged assault on your eyes, eardrums and those tiny hairs on the back of your neck.

French emotional hardcore punk that reminds bands like HYACINTH, URANUS or some 90’s French emo hardcore bands. 6 songs of passionate, angry, sad and political emo hardcore with great jangly guitar bits we all know and love!

BOLZ’N – spaltfunktion tape (utarid tapes) RM 7 / RM8ppd
Blast! More or less accidentally I discovered this four piece as they played a gig in my town and the description sounded somewhat interesting… and BOLZ’N (an abbreviated form of the German word for either “bolt” or “to slam” ) rip your head off, dammit! Technical, hectical, twisted and intense Grindcore / Mathcore of such a ferocity which pulverizes quite some of the bands of a similar style on Relapse. The band is described as being somewhere between DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN and CREATION IS CRUCIFIXION which is not too far off the point – I would also throw in PIG DESTROYER and DISCORDANCE AXIS to round up the picture a bit. The special thing with BOLZ’N is, however, that they definitely focus on an utterly brutal hybrid of complex modern Grindcore with jazzy technicality and odd time signatures. Much to my joy the band does not showcase any audible traces of Hardcore but focuses on their demanding own style, which also incorporates the skilled (! – as it is not the norm with many brutal groups) use of samples here and there. One further special thing is the seethingly aggressive vocal delivery of the front woman, ranging from high screeches to manic screams as well as mid-ranged grunting. I must really say that this band obviously outshines some of their influences by far.

This Klang based youthcrew hardcore bring you 6 great positive youthcrew anthem, play 88 style hardcore with a Strong spirit , heavily influence by Chain Of Strength, Youth Of Today , Bold , Unity and Standard Issue.

20 songs, tracks taken from Cycle of Violence tape, Fuck Bar Culture 7″ and Demo Recording sesssion back on 2006. All in one tape. Fast hardcore in the vein of Infest and the like.”Rooted in the nation’s capital, Coke Bust play fast, pissed, DC straight edge hardcore that straight don’t give a fuck. Influenced by Infest and Youth of Today, this EP delivers 6 blasts of pure thrashing hardcore punk. It follows their killer demo 7″ but adds even more of a pissed-off attitude with negative lyrics. Dying in Motion is a screamo/HC band from Zürich who blow you away. in the vein of french school (think Belle Epoque, Mihai Edrisch, Daïtro and the like), they’re playing a not so often heard brand of agressive, cathartic, errrm, blues. kidding. some call it violent emo, but that’s just another not-so-close- drawer for an unclassifiable style. the topics hansi screams his lungs out about are mostly of instrospective nature. Full-Chin is one man folk punk from Yokohama, Japan. This is beautiful!

Awesome rock n roll punk as fuck out of the dirty cities of Sweden, loads of great guitar leads and from times really fucking angry screamed vocals which are combined with some slower stuff as well, totally recommended kickass punk fucking rock. Dramacoma play a chaotic mess that is not overly intense but ambles on enjoyably. Guitar lines are a bit preditable unlike La Quiete and Raein.
